GOES-16

Changes since the GOES-16 January 19, 2022 version:
- SEISS EHIS was approved at Full Validation maturity on 1/19/2022
- Baseline version of Cloud Cover Layer is incompatible with Enterprise Cloud Height. Implementing a mitigated enterprise version of Cloud Cover Layers will take priority over the baseline version.

GOES-17

Changes since the GOES-17 January 19, 2022 version:
- SEISS SGPS was approved at Full Validation maturity on 1/19/2022
- SEISS EHIS Full Validation is deferred due to insufficient levels of heavy ions detected on orbit. This will be revisited if sufficient data is collected prior to transition of GOES-17 to storage.
- Baseline version of Cloud Cover Layer is incompatible with Enterprise Cloud Height. Implementing a mitigated enterprise version of Cloud Cover Layers will take priority over the baseline version.

GOES-18
GOES-T launched on March 1, 2022. After reaching geostationary orbit the satellite was renamed GOES-18. GOES-18 is currently undergoing on-orbit checkout of its instruments and systems. GOES-18 is scheduled to replace GOES-17 as NOAA’s operational GOES-West satellite in December 2022. Below are the current plans for GOES-18 data availability and product validation as of April 20, 2022.

Changes since the GOES-18 March 14, 2022 version:
- SEISS EHIS Provisional moved from 10/25 to 11/15 due to the addition of a prerequisite to have a look-up table (LUT) installed in the ground system prior to the review
- Some first public release dates have shifted due to a mix of prerequisite rescheduling and the desire to publish Tuesday through Thursday
- New Provisional PS-PVR groupings and dates for all ABI L2+ products (details below)
